The Greater Groveport Food Pantry was established in 1996 as a community organization. It is operated on a two-week rotation basis by an ALL-volunteer staff from nine partnered churches and some community members. We provide approximately five days of groceries to families residing within the Groveport-Madison School District, once every 30 days by appointment ONLY.
Our Mission
To provide emergency short-term assistance in the form of food and groceries to residents within the boundaries of the Groveport-Madison School District.
Our Vision
We aim to reach more people and families needing our help to escape the dangers of obtaining health risks and worsening. We will be here to show temporary support so they can get back on track and move forward with their lives through our programs.
Our pantry is an ALL-volunteer (NO EMPLOYEES) faith-based 501C-3 non-profit corporation. We receive no government funding. The majority of our food and monetary donations are received from individuals, schools, churches, companies, civil groups, etc. We purchase perishable foods each week from our cash donations.
